ORTHOPAEDIC INDUSTRY

Dr. Santore has served as a design surgeon consultant and advisor to the orthopaedic industry for multiple orthopaedic companies. He has served as a consultant on a copyright infringement case involving an orthopaedic implant company. He has served as a voting member of the corporate board of directors of a for-profit orthopaedic device company which was successfully sold for a substantial return on investment to stockholders. He currently serves on the board of advisors of a Harvard Business School Innovation Lab's for-profit spinnoff company, Avant Garde Healthcare. He has served for over 20 years on the board of the Sharp Healthcare Foundation, actively assisting in the generation of substantial philanthropy for major building projects. He has negotiated substantial philanthropic gifts from major industry entities to the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF) in his capacity as Chair of individual giving, having raised millions of dollars for orthopaedic research.
