LEADERSHIP ROLES IN REGIONAL AND NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

Dr. Santore has been involved in leadership at the state and national levels in numerous
organizations. He was elected to the office of the President of the California
Orthopaedic Association (COA), President of the Western Orthopaedic Association
(WOA), and President of The American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons
(AAHKS), the largest association of its kind in the world. He has been elected to
membership in the Hip Society, Knee Society, and International Hip Society. These are
prestigious, "by invitation only" societies that recognize leading surgeons in these
specialties.
